Invent It Ourselves
"KSRLZ" or "k-searls" is our local home FM radio station. It covers the house and the front yard, as a great home audio distribution system. The box itself is a Ramsey FM-100. It's good as far as it goes, but I want more.
Unfortunatlely, nobody makes a home/neighborhood router/FM transmitter. Yet.
Don Marti saw to rectifying this omission by creating a Whiteboard where any number of us can spec out the product we want. Don called it "The Doc Searls Box", and I gave it the "ksrlz" nickname.
Here's hoping you radio/home networking freaks will help finish designing this thing, so somebody with actual manufacturing power can make it.

Police have carried out a controlled explosion on a vehicle at the hospital treating a suspect in the attack on Scotland's busiest airport. Officers also made a fifth arrest in the airport attack and a foiled car bomb plot in London.

Don't forget the FCC has strict limits on how much power and antenna you can put into an unlicensed transmitter.

Password. Hmm.
Gotta check that out. Sorry, in the meantime.
The FCC rules don't regulate the power into the antenna, but how much signal goes out of the antenna. Here's an FAQ.
